Job Title: Consultant – Development of Training of Trainers (ToT) Materials Based on Baseline Assessment

Job Summary

IOM seeks a skilled and proactive Consultant to develop Training of Trainers (ToT) materials based on findings from a baseline assessment. The Consultant will produce high-quality, context-relevant training content that addresses human trafficking and migration issues within sports and other relevant sectors in Ghana. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, including government institutions, civil society organizations, and international partners, to ensure materials are practical, evidence-based, and aligned with IOM objectives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive and evidence-based Training of Trainers (ToT) materials informed by the baseline assessment.
  • Facilitate stakeholder consultations and meetings to ensure training content is relevant and context-specific.
  • Coordinate with government institutions, civil society organizations, and international agencies for inputs and validation.
  • Integrate thematic areas including human trafficking, migration, and sports-related contexts into the training curriculum.
  • Ensure materials are clear, actionable, and suitable for use by trainers with diverse backgrounds.
  • Deliver high-quality outputs within agreed timelines and provide progress updates to IOM project leads.
  • Apply best practices in training material development and adult learning principles.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Human Rights, Sports Management, or related fields.

Experience:

  • Minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in developing training materials, particularly on human trafficking, migration, or sports-related topics.
  • Experience working with government institutions, civil society organizations, and international agencies.
  • Familiarity with Ghana’s sports and trafficking landscape is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate stakeholder consultations effectively.
  • Experience working within the trafficking-in-sports ecosystem is preferred.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English (oral and written) is required.
