Job Summary

AngloGold Ashanti (Ghana) Limited is seeking a skilled and customer-focused Coordinator – End User Support to deliver efficient technical support services. The successful candidate will ensure seamless IT operations by resolving user issues, maintaining systems, and supporting digital initiatives while fostering strong user relationships.


Role Accountabilities

  • Provide first-line technical support by responding promptly to user requests and reported incidents
  • Deliver onsite support and diagnose faults related to hardware, software, networking, configuration, and telecommunications systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain systems, including antivirus, patching, and security controls
  • Record all support activities accurately within the service desk system
  • Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate internal teams in a timely manner
  • Assist in reviewing and investigating technical issues to ensure effective resolution
  • Contribute actively to Digital Technology projects and departmental objectives
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and build positive user relationships
  • Ensure strict compliance with Cyber Safety and IT security requirements
  • Coordinate and supervise vendors and external service providers when required
  • Participate in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs and report identified risks or procedural gaps

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Certification

  • Relevant IT qualification (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft Certification, Network+ or equivalent)

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

  • Proven experience supporting Microsoft products and related technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across PCs, LAN, mobile devices, VoIP, and other IT systems
  • Ability to install and configure wireless networks and telephony systems (advantageous)
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP systems is an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing and technical documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to drive when required
  • Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary
  • Demonstrated experience in roles such as Technical Support Engineer, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar
