Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Conduct continuous monitoring of the bank’s credit portfolio to ensure asset quality and early risk detection.
- Perform credit risk analysis to identify, assess, and mitigate potential credit exposures.
- Review loan performance and recommend corrective actions to manage non-performing loans (NPLs).
- Monitor compliance with approved credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development and enhancement of credit policies, guidelines, and procedures.
- Maintain and manage portfolio quality through regular reviews and reporting.
- Track and drive performance against set targets for NPL recovery and reduction.
- Identify emerging credit risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Prepare periodic credit monitoring reports for management decision-making.
- Collaborate with relationship managers, risk teams, and business units to resolve credit issues.
- Ensure full adherence to internal credit standards and external regulatory frameworks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in credit risk management processes.
Education, Experience & Key Competencies
You should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in credit risk, credit administration, or portfolio monitoring within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of credit risk analysis and portfolio management principles.
- Understanding of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to identify risks early and apply effective mitigation strategies.
- Experience in monitoring and improving loan portfolio quality and performance.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work accurately with attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A results-driven mindset with focus on NPL reduction and recovery targets.
