Job Purpose

The Data Entry Officer ensures the accurate and timely entry, updating, and maintenance of company data. The role supports operational efficiency by maintaining high data integrity and confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain data accurately in company systems and databases

• Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency

• Organize, store, and retrieve documents and electronic records

• Prepare basic reports and summaries using Microsoft Word and Excel

• Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times

• Support other departments with data-related tasks as required

• Meet productivity and accuracy targets consistently

Educational & Professional Requirements

• HND or higher qualification in a relevant field

• 1–2 years’ relevant work experience

• Good command of written and spoken English

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

• Proficient touch-typing skills with speed and accuracy

• Ability to concentrate for extended periods while maintaining accuracy
