Role Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and customer-focused Debt Collection Officer to manage overdue accounts and support loan recovery operations. The successful candidate will engage clients professionally, negotiate repayment solutions, and ensure compliance with company policies and ethical collection standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Proactively contact customers with overdue device financing accounts via calls, SMS, and other approved channels
- Negotiate realistic and sustainable repayment plans with clients
- Monitor delinquent accounts and follow up consistently to ensure recovery targets are met
- Update customer records, payment arrangements, and interaction notes accurately in internal systems
- Escalate high-risk or non-responsive accounts in line with company procedures
- Ensure all recovery activities comply with company policies, legal guidelines, and ethical standards
- Maintain professionalism and protect the company’s brand reputation during all client interactions
- Generate periodic reports on recovery performance and portfolio status
Requirements & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in any field
- Some experience in debt collection is great but not prerequisite.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to handle difficult conversations professionally and calmly
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and CRM systems
