Position Summary

The Digital Marketing & Communications Officer will lead the development and execution of digital marketing, branding, and communications initiatives that strengthen Esoko’s visibility, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support business growth.

The successful candidate will create compelling content, manage digital campaigns, oversee corporate communications activities, and ensure consistent brand positioning across all platforms and audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Marketing & Brand Management

  • Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals and business objectives.
  • Plan, implement, monitor, and optimize multi-channel digital marketing campaigns.
  • Drive brand awareness, audience engagement, customer acquisition, and lead-generation initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency of brand messaging, visual identity, and corporate positioning across all communication platforms.
  • Identify and leverage emerging digital marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to improve campaign performance and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative marketing initiatives that support product promotion and business growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign performance, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Content Development & Corporate Communications

  • Develop, edit, and manage engaging content for websites, blogs, newsletters, social media platforms, reports, marketing campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Create compelling communication materials that effectively showcase Esoko’s products, services, projects, partnerships, and impact stories.
  • Draft and coordinate internal and external communications, including press releases, announcements, media content, and stakeholder updates.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives and contribute to strengthening Esoko’s corporate reputation and visibility.
  • Maintain content calendars and ensure timely delivery of communication materials across all channels.

Social Media Management & Audience Engagement

  • Manage and grow Esoko’s social media presence across key digital platforms.
  • Develop audience-focused campaigns that increase engagement, reach, and brand visibility.
  • Monitor online conversations and engage with stakeholders in a professional and timely manner.
  • Track social media performance and recommend strategies to improve results.

Website & Digital Presence Management

  • Update and maintain website content to ensure relevance, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Support search engine optimization (SEO) initiatives to improve website visibility and performance.
  • Ensure all digital platforms align with Esoko’s brand standards and communication objectives.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines:

  • Marketing
  • Communications
  • Public Relations
  • Journalism
  • Digital Media
  • Graphic Design
  • Business Administration
  • Or a related discipline

Professional Experience

  • Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of progressive experience in digital marketing, communications, branding, content development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience managing digital marketing campaigns from concept development through execution and performance evaluation.
  • Experience within technology, innovation, Agritech, development, or social impact sectors will be highly advantageous.
  • Previous experience working with NGOs, donor-funded projects, development organizations, or international institutions will be considered an advantage.
