Role Summary

The Director of Medical Services provides strategic leadership for all medical and clinical operations within MSIG Ghana.

In this role, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and client-centered sexual and reproductive health services. You will lead the development and implementation of clinical policies, oversee medical teams, and drive organizational excellence in alignment with MSIG’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the medical and clinical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

• Develop, implement, and monitor clinical standards, protocols, and guidelines to ensure compliance with national regulations and best practices.

• Provide technical oversight of sexual and reproductive health programs, ensuring clinical excellence and client safety.

• Support the strategic planning and execution of programs to expand access to services.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory and professional standards, maintaining valid licensure and compliance with the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen healthcare partnerships and program impact.

• Promote a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and ethical practice across clinical teams.

• Advocate for pro-choice and rights-based approaches in all medical services.

Education & Experience

• Advanced degree in Medicine with a public health specialty.

• Valid professional licensure and evidence of good standing with the Medical and Dental Council of Ghana.

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive leadership experience in sexual and reproductive health programs.

• Strong commitment to pro-choice principles.

• Proven experience in managing multi-disciplinary clinical teams.

• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills.
