Job Purpose

The Enterprise Architect (Technology) is responsible for developing and maintaining current and future state technology capability architectures. This role ensures that the bank’s technology solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage architecture models to address business needs while supporting efficient, secure, and compliant delivery of technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate technology capability architectures, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

• Design scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions that support current and future business needs.

• Translate business requirements into architecture models using recognized frameworks and tools.

• Collaborate with cross-functional technology, security, and business teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions.

• Optimize technology infrastructure for performance, scalability, and security.

• Ensure technology solutions comply with governance, regulatory, and security standards.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovations to enhance the bank’s technology capabilities.

• Provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders on technology strategy, architecture decisions, and risk management.

• Document and maintain architecture models, policies, and standards for enterprise-wide reference.

Educational Requirements & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 5–8 years of experience in technology, security, or enterprise architecture roles in large-scale environments.

• Certifications in TOGAF, ITIL, PMP, or other enterprise architecture frameworks are an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud and solution architecture, and emerging technology trends.

• Proficiency with Enterprise Architecture tools (e.g., Orbus iServer) and diagramming/modelling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Visio).

• Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into actionable architecture models.

• Knowledge of governance frameworks, security, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex technology issues.

• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Results-oriented, with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and deliver secure solutions.
