Job Summary

CETECH Ghana invites applications from skilled and motivated Electrical Technicians to join our growing technical training and operations team. We seek an experienced professional who creates a welcoming, safe, and practical learning and working environment while delivering high-quality electrical services and hands-on technical training. This role combines field expertise with mentorship to support skills development and industry readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

  • Apply the Ghanaian Electrical Code and all safety regulations during installations and maintenance activities.

  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions.

  • Work with electrical control systems, including PLCs, to support operations and training activities.

  • Read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics accurately.

  • Train, mentor, and supervise trainees or junior technicians using a practical, hands-on approach.

  • Prepare and support practical demonstrations, workshops, and training sessions as required.

  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all trainees.

  • Maintain accurate records of electrical work, inspections, and training activities.

  • Collaborate with instructors, management, and technical teams to improve training quality and operational efficiency.

    Educational Requirements

    • TVET Higher National Diploma (HND) or

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.


    Required Experience

    • 5–8 years of hands-on electrical experience in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

    • 1–2 years of teaching, training, or mentorship experience in formal or informal environments.

    • Proven experience in electrical troubleshooting, installations, and control systems.

    • Solid working knowledge of Ghanaian electrical safety regulations.

      Preferred Qualifications

      • Experience using AutoCAD, PLC programming tools, or electrical drafting software.

      • Previous work experience in a TVET or technical training institution.

      • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

      • Ability to inspire learners through practical, hands-on teaching methods.
