Job Summary

CETECH Ghana seeks an experienced HVAC/R Technician to support system installation, maintenance, and hands-on technical training. The successful candidate will actively perform HVAC/R operations while mentoring learners through practical instruction in a structured and supportive environment. This role suits a skilled professional who values safety, precision, and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC/R systems for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

• Diagnose system faults and implement effective corrective actions.

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure system efficiency and reliability.

• Interpret HVAC/R drawings, schematics, and technical documentation accurately.

• Apply industry standards, safety procedures, and best practices at all times.

• Train, mentor, and supervise students or junior technicians using practical, hands-on methods.

• Demonstrate correct use of HVAC/R tools, equipment, and refrigerants.

• Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive workshop and worksite environment.

• Inspect completed installations and repairs to ensure quality and compliance.

• Maintain clear records of maintenance activities, repairs, and training sessions.

• Collaborate with instructors and management to improve training delivery and operational efficiency.

Educational Requirements

• TVET Higher National Diploma (HND) or

• Bachelor’s Degree in HVAC/R, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.

  Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–8 years of hands-on HVAC/R experience across residential, commercial, or industrial systems.

  • At least 1–2 years of teaching, training, or mentorship experience in a formal or informal setting.
