About the Role
Alpha Mead Group is seeking a proactive and technically competent Facility Manager (Hard Services) to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operation of facility infrastructure and building services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all building systems, equipment, utilities, and maintenance activities are effectively managed to support a safe, efficient, and well-maintained working environment.

This role is ideal for a hands-on facilities professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and experience managing maintenance operations within a commercial or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and building infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities for facility equipment and systems.
- Manage corrective maintenance activities and ensure prompt resolution of facility-related issues.
- Monitor the performance and condition of generators, elevators, electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and other critical assets.
- Ensure scheduled servicing of facility equipment is completed within approved timelines.
- Supervise maintenance technicians, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality service delivery.
- Facilitate toolbox meetings and promote compliance with health and safety requirements.
- Oversee the operation of water and sewage treatment systems to maintain hygiene and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate routine fumigation and environmental management activities.
- Monitor utility consumption and implement practical energy-saving initiatives.
- Support office renovation, refurbishment, and facility improvement projects as assigned.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection reports, and service schedules.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of assigned works.
- Escalate major maintenance issues and provide recommendations for corrective action.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Country Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Estate Management, Engineering, Building Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in facility management, building maintenance, or related technical operations.
- Experience managing hard services within a commercial, residential, industrial, or mixed-use facility environment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and building systems management.
- Experience using Facility Management Software or CMMS systems will be an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
