We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Officer to join our growing team in Accra.

Position Summary

The Finance Officer will support the finance function by ensuring accurate financial processing, record keeping, and reporting. The role will play a key part in maintaining financial integrity across daily operations, supporting compliance requirements, and contributing to efficient financial management within the Company.

Key Responsibilities

The Finance Officer will:

• Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations and mobile money reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Maintain proper accounting records, documentation, and filing systems in line with company standards.
• Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll and statutory deductions.
• Support the preparation and submission of statutory filings and regulatory returns.
• Monitor accounts receivable and actively follow up on outstanding customer payments.
• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial data in the accounting system.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes as required.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance with policies.

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• Fully or partly qualified in a recognized professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, ICAG, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) to three (3) years’ relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Hands-on experience with Odoo, particularly the Accounting module, is highly preferred.

Knowledge and Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial processes.
• Experience with reconciliations, invoicing, and financial record keeping.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with payroll processing and statutory compliance requirements.
