Job Summary
The Geodetic Engineer actively plans, executes, and manages surveying and geodetic activities to support engineering and construction projects. The role ensures high levels of accuracy in measurements, data processing, and reporting. The successful candidate contributes to project efficiency, compliance with technical standards, and overall project success.
Key Responsibilities
The Geodetic Engineer will:
Conduct geodetic and topographic surveys using advanced survey instruments
Operate and maintain surveying equipment such as GPS/GNSS, total stations, and levels
Process, analyze, and interpret survey data using specialized software
Establish and maintain geodetic control networks and benchmarks
Ensure survey work complies with project specifications and industry standards
Prepare accurate survey reports, drawings, and documentation
Collaborate with project engineers and construction teams to support site activities
Identify and resolve survey discrepancies and technical challenges
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations during fieldwork
Educational Qualification & Requirements
BSc or MSc in Geodetic Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, or a related discipline
Advanced knowledge of surveying instruments and survey software
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
