Job Summary

Beacon International School seeks dedicated and experienced Teachers for Geography, Economics, and Mathematics to join its academic team. The successful candidates will actively deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Cambridge curriculum, support students’ academic development, and contribute positively to a collaborative school culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective lessons in Geography, Economics, or Mathematics in line with the Cambridge curriculum.

• Create a welcoming, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that supports student learning.

• Use varied instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

• Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress regularly.

• Maintain effective classroom management and promote positive behavior.

• Prepare students adequately for internal and external assessments.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and improve teaching practices.

• Participate actively in staff meetings, school activities, and professional development programs.

• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.

  Educational & Experience Requirements

  • First Degree in the relevant subject area (Geography, Economics, or Mathematics).

  • Sound knowledge of the Cambridge Education curriculum.

  • Minimum of two (2) years teaching experience in a recognized institution.
