Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Geospatial Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across the business. The successful candidate will design, develop, and manage geospatial solutions that enhance network planning, customer insights, and strategic initiatives while contributing to a collaborative and forward-thinking work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and introduce innovative geospatial methods, tools, and applications across the business
  • Manage and maintain ArcGIS Online Portal and Enterprise ArcGIS Server
  • Develop customized GIS web maps and applications to support reporting and insights
  • Build and manage geodatabases, ensuring high-quality datasets for organizational use
  • Conduct spatial analysis to support network planning and prioritization
  • Design and execute spatial analysis for data mining and reporting purposes
  • Train staff on the use of GIS tools, applications, and datasets
  • Gather and define user requirements across Network, Customer Care, and Commercial teams
  • Support customer analytics through data mining, reporting, and market research inputs
  • Support research initiatives, including survey design and analysis

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a geospatial-related field such as Geography, Urban Planning, Statistics/Geostatistics, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in geospatial analytics

Certifications (Preferred):

  • ArcGIS Application Development
  • Enterprise ArcGIS Server Management
  • Data Analysis & Reporting using Power BI
  • Network Performance Management (SEQ Analyst PS)

Technical Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of GIS software and geospatial analysis techniques
  • Proficiency in SQL, data mining, and enterprise data warehouse concepts
  • Experience with BI dashboards and reporting tools
  • Working knowledge of SPSS, Microsoft Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with research methods and statistical analysis
  • Understanding of marketing concepts, consumer behavior, and commercial strategy
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices
