The Opportunity

African Aspirations is seeking an accomplished and client-focused Head of Client Engagement to lead client relationships, oversee the successful delivery of engagements, and drive service excellence across the organisation.

This full-time position is based at our office in Osu, Accra, Ghana. The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role in ensuring exceptional client experiences while guiding multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that consistently exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the primary executive contact for active clients.
  • Lead client onboarding and establish strong, long-term relationships.
  • Conduct regular client check-ins and monitor engagement milestones.
  • Gather client feedback and identify opportunities to enhance the client experience.

Engagement Management

  • Oversee African Aspirations’ portfolio of client engagements across business divisions.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while maintaining delivery excellence.
  • Ensure engagements remain aligned with client objectives and organisational standards.

Quality Assurance

  • Review and approve client deliverables before submission.
  • Maintain consistency in methodology, branding, and professional presentation.
  • Ensure all outputs meet African Aspirations’ quality standards and client expectations.
  • Promote continuous improvement in service delivery processes.

Leadership

  • Lead and influence multidisciplinary teams across all levels of the organisation.
  • Coach and mentor Engagement Managers and Analysts to support their professional growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing culture.
  • Encourage innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning across teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for a professional who:

  • Commands respect through credibility, confidence, and professionalism.
  • Builds strong relationships while maintaining executive presence and gravitas.
  • Brings recognised expertise in a business-related profession such as law, accounting, banking, consulting, customer service, or a related field.
  • Possesses extensive project management experience and is proficient in project management methodologies and software.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes.

Professional certifications in Project Management will be a significant advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Master’s degree in a recognised field.
  • A postgraduate qualification relevant to business, management, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
  • Professional Project Management certification is highly desirable.
