We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance to lead our finance function, strengthen financial governance, and support sustainable business growth.
Position Overview
The Head of Finance will lead all financial operations, ensure strong fiscal discipline, and provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership. The role requires a seasoned finance professional with deep expertise in financial management, regulatory compliance, and sector-specific financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the full finance function, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth and profitability
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal financial policies
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation to support operational efficiency
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports to executive management and the Board
- Strengthen internal controls and risk management frameworks
- Lead audits and liaise with external auditors, regulators, and financial institutions
- Drive financial performance improvements across all business units
- Mentor and develop the finance team to build strong technical and leadership capacity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Professional qualification (ACCA, ICA, CPA) is mandatory
- MBA or Master’s in Finance is an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in finance roles
- At least 5 years in a senior finance leadership position
- Strong background in finance, leasing, banking, or microfinance sectors in Ghana

- High level of financial analysis and decision-making skills
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian financial regulations and reporting standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
