As part of our operations, we are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Help Desk Officer. 

Role Overview

The Help Desk Officer serves as the first point of contact for internal users and external stakeholders requiring technical or operational support. The role requires strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to service delivery to ensure timely resolution of issues and a positive user experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and respond to help desk requests in a professional and timely manner.

  • Provide first-level technical and operational support to staff and customers.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve basic system, hardware, or application issues.

  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams and follow up to ensure resolution.

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and resolutions.

  • Support system access management and basic user account administration.

  • Provide guidance to users on standard procedures and system usage.

  • Contribute to the improvement of help desk processes and service standards.

  • Ensure confidentiality and professionalism in handling company information.


Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • HND or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ professional experience in a help desk, customer support, or related support role.

  • Basic knowledge of computer systems, software applications, and IT support tools.


Additional Requirements

  • Must be residing in or around Accra.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Customer-focused attitude with attention to detail.
