Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Admin Assistant to support our client’s human resource and administrative functions. In this role, you will assist with HR operations, payroll support, employee record management, and general administrative coordination while ensuring compliance with labor regulations and organizational policies.


Key Responsibilities

You will provide administrative and HR support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations:

  • HR Administration: Support daily HR and administrative activities to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Payroll & SSNIT Support: Assist with payroll processing, SSNIT administration, and related employee benefit activities.
  • Compliance Support: Ensure HR processes comply with the Ghana Labour Act and internal organizational policies.
  • HRIS Coordination: Support the use and maintenance of HR Information Systems (HRIS) and employee databases.
  • Reporting & Data Management: Prepare HR reports, maintain spreadsheets, and manage employee data accurately using Microsoft Excel.
  • Administrative Coordination: Assist with scheduling, filing, correspondence, and other office administrative tasks.
  • Employee Support: Respond to staff inquiries professionally and maintain a high level of confidentiality.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or administrative support roles.
  • Degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Good working knowledge of the Ghana Labour Act.
  • Experience supporting payroll administration and SSNIT processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and HR management systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
