Job Summary

Wilmar Africa Ltd seeks a proactive and detail-oriented HR & Admin Officer to support human resource and administrative functions across the organization. The successful candidate will manage HR processes, ensure compliance with labour regulations, and support efficient administrative operations within a dynamic industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day HR and administrative operations to support business efficiency.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee documentation processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure compliance with Ghana’s Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651) and internal HR policies.
  • Support payroll preparation and employee welfare administration.
  • Coordinate training, performance management, and staff engagement activities.
  • Handle office administration tasks, including correspondence, filing, and logistics support.
  • Assist in resolving employee relations issues professionally and confidentially.
  • Coordinate with operational sites when required to support HR activities.
  • Ensure proper implementation of HR best practices across the organization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in HR and administration, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Ghana’s Labour Act, 2003 (Act 651) and HR best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to travel occasionally to operational sites.
