Position Summary

Pasico Ghana Limited is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HSEQ Systems Officer to support the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of HSEQ management systems. The successful candidate will actively promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and maintain HSEQ management systems in line with company policies and regulatory requirements

• Support the development and review of HSEQ procedures, manuals, and documentation

• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments

• Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality standards

• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions

• Provide HSEQ training, awareness, and toolbox talks to staff

• Monitor and report on HSEQ performance indicators

• Support certification and compliance with standards such as ISO

• Promote continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture

Requirements & Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum: Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or Environmental Management

• Professional certifications such as ISO Internal Auditor, NEBOSH, or IOSH are a strong advantage

• 2–3 years’ relevant work experience in HSEQ or related roles

• Strong knowledge of HSEQ regulations, standards, and best practices

• Excellent documentation, reporting, and organizational skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
