Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled IT Support professional to join our team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day technical support, maintain IT systems and networks, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and deliver responsive help desk support to ensure smooth business operations.

This role is ideal for an entry-level professional who is eager to grow within a dynamic technology environment while gaining hands-on experience in IT support and systems administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and IT-related issues across the organization.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripheral devices.
  • Monitor and manage network connectivity, user accounts, and access permissions.
  • Troubleshoot system, network, and application issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Respond to help desk requests and provide effective user support both remotely and on-site.
  • Assist with system upgrades, updates, backups, and routine maintenance activities.
  • Support IT security practices and ensure adherence to company technology policies.
  • Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and support activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve system efficiency and user experience.

Educational Requirements

  • Minimum qualification of HND or Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Basic knowledge of hardware and software support.
  • Understanding of networking concepts and user access management.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical and system-related issues effectively.
  • Strong customer service and help desk support skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced technology environment.
