We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Key Account Coordinator to strengthen client relationships and support the delivery of exceptional account management services.

Position Summary

The Key Account Coordinator will support the management of strategic customer accounts by coordinating sales activities, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of products and services. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction, support business growth, and ensure seamless account operations.

Key Responsibilities

Key Account Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned accounts and respond promptly to customer enquiries.
  • Coordinate customer requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and recommend initiatives to improve service delivery.

Sales Coordination

  • Support the Key Account Manager in developing and executing account plans.
  • Prepare quotations, sales documentation, and customer reports.
  • Coordinate order processing, deliveries, and after-sales support activities.
  • Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving revenue targets.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

  • Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their operational needs.
  • Identify opportunities to promote additional products and services.
  • Ensure customers receive timely updates on orders, deliveries, and service requests.
  • Foster customer loyalty through professional and responsive service.

Business Development Support

  • Assist in identifying opportunities to grow existing customer accounts.
  • Gather market intelligence and monitor competitor activities.
  • Support business development initiatives and customer engagement programmes.
  • Participate in customer meetings and site visits where required.

Reporting & Administration

  • Maintain accurate customer records and account documentation.
  • Prepare regular reports on account performance, sales activities, and customer feedback.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in account management, sales coordination, customer service, or a related role.
  • Experience in the mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment sector will be an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships and coordinate multiple priorities effectively.
