Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Learning & Development Officer to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage training and development programs that strengthen employee capability, particularly within Sales, Marketing, and related functional teams.
You will play a key role in shaping a learning culture by identifying skill gaps, delivering impactful training, and supporting leadership in building strong, capable teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement targeted training programs to address competency gaps across Sales, Marketing, and other departments.
- Conduct regular training needs assessments and recommend relevant development interventions.
- Plan, organize, and deliver engaging in-house training sessions for employees across various functions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and continuously improve learning outcomes.
- Support line managers in coaching, mentoring, and developing their teams.
- Collaborate with HR to align learning initiatives with overall talent development strategies.
- Maintain accurate training records and prepare periodic reports on learning activities and outcomes.
- Coordinate with external training providers to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Develop structured on-boarding and induction programs for new employees.
- Identify emerging learning trends and integrate best practices into organizational development plans.
- Provide advisory support to management on talent development and capability-building strategies.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Learning & Development, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to assess training needs and design effective learning solutions.
