Role Purpose

The Lecturers / Teaching Staff will deliver high-quality instruction in their respective subject areas, support students’ academic growth, and contribute to a positive and engaging learning environment. The role focuses on effective teaching, student mentoring, and continuous improvement of instructional practices to ensure learners are well prepared for pre-university and professional pathways.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching and Learning

• Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons in assigned subject areas in line with the institution’s academic standards.

• Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assessments, and examinations.

• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and support academic improvement.

Student Support and Mentorship

• Guide and mentor students to achieve academic excellence and personal discipline.

• Identify learning challenges and provide appropriate academic support.

• Promote positive learning behaviors and uphold institutional values.

Academic and Institutional Contribution

• Participate actively in academic planning, staff meetings, and institutional activities.

• Contribute to continuous improvement of curricula and teaching methodologies.

• Uphold professional ethics and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.

Required Qualifications

Education

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in the applicant’s area of interest or subject specialization.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

• Commitment to student development and academic excellence.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a structured academic environment.
