Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Legal & Corporate Affairs Officer to join our team in East Legon. The successful candidate will oversee the company’s legal compliance, corporate governance, and community relations, ensuring BEFT Group operates ethically and strategically in all aspects of its business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal support and guidance on contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee corporate governance practices, ensuring alignment with statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage corporate affairs, including liaising with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies for community engagement and corporate social responsibility initiatives.
- Monitor and mitigate legal risks across business operations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements.
- Support management in decision-making by providing legal and corporate insights.
Qualifications & Experience
- LLB qualification from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in corporate affairs or legal practice.
- Demonstrated experience in corporate governance, legal compliance, and community relations.
- Strong knowledge of Ghanaian corporate and commercial law.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
