Key Responsibilities

• Perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and pelvic ultrasound scans with precision
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and ensure their comfort throughout the process
• Analyze and interpret imaging results and provide accurate reports to physicians
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols
• Collaborate with medical staff to support diagnosis and patient management
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory standards, and professional guidelines
• Be available for locum or temporary assignments as scheduled

Educational Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Medical Sonography or Diagnostic Imaging
• Valid professional license from the Allied Health Professions Council, Ghana

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years practical experience as a sonographer
• Demonstrated competence in abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, and pelvic scans
