Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Manager, Budgeting & Reporting to lead financial planning, budgeting, and management reporting functions. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial analysis, support decision-making processes, and strengthen financial performance management across the organization. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and deep experience within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts
• Oversee the preparation of timely and accurate financial and management reports
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate variance analysis and recommend corrective actions where necessary
• Develop and maintain robust financial reporting systems and controls
• Support senior management with financial planning and business performance reviews
• Collaborate with departments to align budgeting processes with organizational goals
• Lead and mentor the budgeting and reporting team to ensure high performance

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage)
• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is an added advantage
• Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
• Proven experience in the financial services sector is required
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting systems
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
