Position Summary

The Mathematics Teacher will deliver engaging and effective mathematics instruction aligned with international curriculum standards. The successful candidate will create a stimulating learning environment that promotes critical thinking, problem-solving, and student achievement.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Plan and deliver high-quality mathematics lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and academic standards.
• Use effective teaching strategies to promote student understanding, participation, and achievement.
• Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional materials that support diverse learning needs.
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes.

Classroom Management & Student Engagement

• Maintain a well-structured, disciplined, and positive classroom environment.
• Foster strong student engagement through interactive and learner-centered teaching approaches.
• Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to support academic improvement.
• Support students in developing confidence and interest in mathematics.

Assessment & Reporting

• Design and administer assessments to evaluate student performance.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and academic performance.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents on academic development.
• Contribute to school reporting systems and academic evaluations.

Collaboration & Professional Contribution

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery.
• Participate in departmental meetings, school activities, and professional development programs.
• Support school initiatives that promote academic excellence and student success.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

Candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience in a recognized international school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Requirements

• Cambridge-certified teachers will be given preference.
• Proven experience teaching Cambridge or international curricula.
