We are seeking skilled and dedicated Midwives to join our team and help ensure safe pregnancies, deliveries, and postnatal care for mothers and newborns.
Position Summary
The Midwife provides professional, compassionate, and evidence-based maternal and newborn care. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to support mothers throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postnatal care.
We welcome proactive, empathetic, and detail-oriented midwives who are passionate about improving maternal and child health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to mothers and newborns.
Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and comfort of mothers and babies.
Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout pregnancy and childbirth.
Educate and counsel mothers on pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive maternal care.
Promote and adhere to best practices, clinical protocols, and hospital policies.
Provide emergency care support when required.
Educational and Professional Requirements
Registered Midwife with a recognized qualification in Midwifery.
Relevant clinical experience in maternal and child health is preferred.
Strong knowledge of midwifery procedures, maternal care, and newborn care practices.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple patients effectively.
