Position Summary

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Communications Associate supports the collection, analysis, reporting, and communication of program data and results under the GHSC-PSM project. The role strengthens performance monitoring, learning, and knowledge sharing while supporting internal and external communication of project achievements.

This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in monitoring and evaluation within a donor-funded public health and supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Monitoring, Evaluation and Communications Associate will:

• Support the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities for the GHSC-PSM project.

• Collect, clean, analyze, and manage program data to support performance tracking and reporting.

• Assist in preparing routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.

• Support documentation of project results, success stories, and lessons learned.

• Contribute to internal and external communication materials, including presentations, briefs, and reports.

• Support data quality assurance activities and adherence to project MEL plans.

• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate data reporting.

• Participate in field activities and data collection exercises as required.

• Maintain organized MEL and communications records and databases.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or recent completion) in:

  • Monitoring and Evaluation

  • Public Health

  • Pharmacy

  • Health Information Management

  • Supply Chain Management

  • Statistics, or a related field

Experience and Exposure

• Prior internship, academic project, or volunteer experience in monitoring and evaluation, public health programs, pharmacy, or supply chain management is an advantage.

• Exposure to health systems or development programs is desirable.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to present data clearly through charts, tables, and written narratives.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project setting.
