Position Summary
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Communications Associate supports the collection, analysis, reporting, and communication of program data and results under the GHSC-PSM project. The role strengthens performance monitoring, learning, and knowledge sharing while supporting internal and external communication of project achievements.
This position is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in monitoring and evaluation within a donor-funded public health and supply chain environment.
Key Responsibilities
The Monitoring, Evaluation and Communications Associate will:
Support the implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) activities for the GHSC-PSM project.
Collect, clean, analyze, and manage program data to support performance tracking and reporting.
Assist in preparing routine and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
Support documentation of project results, success stories, and lessons learned.
Contribute to internal and external communication materials, including presentations, briefs, and reports.
Support data quality assurance activities and adherence to project MEL plans.
Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate data reporting.
Participate in field activities and data collection exercises as required.
Maintain organized MEL and communications records and databases.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or recent completion) in:
Monitoring and Evaluation
Public Health
Pharmacy
Health Information Management
Supply Chain Management
Statistics, or a related field
Experience and Exposure
Prior internship, academic project, or volunteer experience in monitoring and evaluation, public health programs, pharmacy, or supply chain management is an advantage.
Exposure to health systems or development programs is desirable.
Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Ability to present data clearly through charts, tables, and written narratives.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic project setting.
