Position Overview
As a National Service Personnel – Sales, you will support the Sales team in identifying business opportunities, building customer relationships, generating leads, and contributing to initiatives that drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for graduates who are passionate about sales, client engagement, and business development.
Key Areas of Exposure and Responsibilities
Business Development
- Support the identification of new business opportunities and potential markets.
- Assist in developing strategies to expand the company’s customer base.
- Contribute to business development initiatives that support organisational growth.
- Help prepare proposals and business presentations for prospective clients.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain positive relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Support customer engagement activities to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Respond to customer enquiries and escalate issues where necessary.
- Maintain accurate customer records and communication logs.
Lead Generation
- Research and identify prospective clients and business opportunities.
- Support lead generation activities through digital platforms, referrals, and market outreach.
- Assist in qualifying leads and maintaining an up-to-date sales pipeline.
- Schedule meetings and appointments for the Sales team with prospective clients.
Sales Support
- Provide administrative support to the Sales team.
- Assist in preparing sales reports, quotations, and presentations.
- Coordinate sales documentation and maintain organised records.
- Support the planning and execution of sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Client Engagement
- Participate in client meetings, product demonstrations, and business presentations where required.
- Support follow-up communication with clients to strengthen business relationships.
- Help ensure a professional and positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Assist in coordinating customer events and engagement initiatives.
Market Research
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
- Gather and analyse market information to support sales planning.
- Prepare reports and summaries to assist with business decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for market expansion and product promotion.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled for or eligible to undertake National Service.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Economics, Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated interest in sales, customer service, or business development.
Skills and Competencies

- Excellent relationship-building and customer service abilities.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is desirable.
- Strong computer literacy and digital communication skills.
