Position Summary

Duapa Agri Products Ltd is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our production and processing activities in Accra. The successful candidate will actively manage operations, enhance productivity, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive operational excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production and processing operations

• Ensure that production targets, quality standards, and timelines are consistently met

• Develop, implement, and monitor operational policies, procedures, and performance metrics

• Manage resources efficiently, including staff, equipment, and materials

• Identify opportunities to optimize production processes, reduce waste, and improve efficiency

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations

• Prepare operational reports, budgets, and forecasts for management review

• Lead, mentor, and develop operations staff to achieve departmental goals

• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth workflow

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Production Management, Operations Management, Food Science, or a related field

• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in operations, production, or processing roles

• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills

• Proven ability to manage teams, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiency

• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality management standards in production

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
