We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our remote legal support team and contribute to the delivery of accurate, timely, and high-quality legal services.
Position Summary
As a Paralegal, you will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, managing case files, and supporting litigation and transactional processes. You will play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in legal operations while working within a remote, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Research & Analysis
- Conduct thorough legal research on statutes, regulations, case law, judicial opinions, and legal precedents.
- Analyze legal issues and prepare clear, structured summaries for attorneys.
- Draft legal memoranda, reports, and case briefs.
- Monitor and stay updated on legal developments and regulatory changes relevant to assigned matters.
Legal Drafting & Documentation
- Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, affidavits, and court filings under attorney supervision.
- Prepare and customize legal templates, forms, and procedural documents.
- Review and proofread legal materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist in drafting contracts, agreements, and transactional documents where required.
Case Management & Litigation Support
- Organize, maintain, and update electronic and physical case files.
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and court schedules.
- Support attorneys in trial preparation, hearings, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Coordinate the collection, review, and organization of evidence and supporting materials.
- Prepare trial binders, exhibit lists, witness files, and litigation documentation.
Discovery Management
- Draft and prepare discovery requests, responses, and related documentation.
- Assist in managing document production, review, and disclosure processes.
- Coordinate evidence collection and document organization activities.
- Support attorneys in analyzing discovery materials and identifying key evidence.
Client Communication & Case Intake
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding case updates and information requests.
- Conduct client intake interviews and gather relevant case details.
- Support initial case evaluations and strategy development discussions with attorneys.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all client communications.
Administrative & Legal Team Support
- Maintain accurate and organized legal records and document management systems.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Coordinate with legal assistants and team members to ensure workflow efficiency.
- Provide general support to attorneys and legal teams as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant, Legal Secretary, Legal Intern, Corporate Legal Officer, or Legal Support Professional.
- Experience within a law firm, corporate legal department, or legal services organization.
- Exposure to U.S. legal systems, litigation processes, or documentation standards will be an added advantage.
- Experience supporting international legal teams is highly desirable.

- Familiarity with legal case management and document management systems.
