Job Description

Ho Technical University is seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to support healthcare delivery within the institution. The successful candidate will ensure the safe dispensing of medications, provide pharmaceutical care, and promote health and wellness within the university community.

You will play a key role in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring proper medication management, and supporting clinical and advisory functions where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense medications accurately in accordance with prescriptions and regulations
• Provide professional advice on the safe use of medicines
• Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products
• Maintain accurate records of medications and inventory
• Monitor drug usage and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care
• Educate patients and staff on medication use and health practices
• Ensure adherence to all regulatory and institutional policies

Educational Requirements

• Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D)

Qualification & Experience

• Qualified Pharmacist with permanent registration from the Pharmacy Council
• Completion of one (1) year horsemanship
• Hospital practice experience is an added advantage
