Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Physics Teacher to join our secondary school faculty. In this role, you will create an engaging, welcoming, and intellectually stimulating classroom environment. You will guide students through the complexities of physics, facilitate hands-on laboratory experiments, and prepare them thoroughly for the Cambridge International examinations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver High-Quality Instruction: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-impact physics lessons aligned with the Cambridge International curriculum.
- Foster a Welcoming Environment: Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation, curiosity, and critical thinking.
- Manage Laboratory Work: Design and supervise practical lab experiments, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols while deepening students’ understanding of empirical science.
- Assess and Support Student Progress: Evaluate student work regularly, provide constructive feedback, and implement targeted interventions to support diverse learning needs.
- Collaborate and Contribute: Work closely with the Science Department to align curriculum goals, share best practices, and participate in school-wide events and extracurricular activities.
Job Requirements
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Applied Physics, or Science Education with a specialization in Physics.
- Curriculum Experience: Proven experience teaching the Cambridge International Curriculum (IGCSE / A-Level).
- Subject Matter Expertise: Strong, comprehensive knowledge of core physics concepts and advanced practical laboratory techniques.
- Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, strong classroom management abilities, and a proficiency in integrating educational technology into science lessons.
