The successful candidate will operate and monitor plant equipment, ensure optimal production output, and contribute to a safe, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor processing plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production
- Maintain optimal performance across plant circuits, including crushing, grinding, and processing systems
- Conduct routine inspections and identify operational issues for timely resolution
- Apply troubleshooting techniques to minimize downtime and maintain output targets
- Follow all safety procedures, operational guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Interpret operational data and make informed decisions to improve plant performance
- Coordinate with team members to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations
- Maintain accurate operational records and reports
Qualifications
- Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent
- Valid B/E-Class driver’s license
- Mincom Process/Equipment Operations Certificate of Competence (advantageous)
Experience
- Minimum of 2–3 years’ operating experience in a gold processing plant
- At least 1–2 years’ experience in a process plant operating environment
Additional Knowledge
- Demonstrated competence in Metalliferous Courses (City & Guilds), including:
- MNMPRD104A – Conduct Pump Operations
- MNMPRD105A – Conduct Valve Operations
- Additional Metalliferous certifications are an advantage
- Strong working knowledge of processing plant equipment and operations
- Familiarity with key plant processes, including:
- Crushing and grinding (SAG and Ball Mill)
- Leach / Carbon-in-Leach (CIL) processes
- Elution systems and reagent handling
- Water treatment and tailings operations
Technical Skills & Competencies
- Apply strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Make sound operational decisions under pressure
- Analyze and interpret plant data and performance indicators
- Communicate clearly in written and spoken English
- Work effectively within a team and support coordination of plant activities
- Interpret operational instructions, safety signage, and procedures accurately
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Support team output by guiding and coordinating activities when required
