Job Description

A leading premium dental and orthodontic practice in Ghana is seeking an experienced Practice Manager (GM) to lead the overall operations, strategy, and financial performance of the practice. The role reports directly to the CEO and is central to driving business growth, operational excellence, and an outstanding patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
1.Strategic Leadership & Business Development: Partner with the CEO to formulate and execute strategic plans, identify growth opportunities, expand market share, and drive revenue growth with a goal to double revenue within three years.

2.Operational & Financial Management: Oversee daily operations, financial planning, budgeting, revenue cycle management, procurement, inventory, and internal controls. Monitor operational KPIs and implement improvements.

3.Marketing & Commercial Growth: Lead marketing strategy, brand management, and patient acquisition initiatives. Oversee digital presence, promotional campaigns, and sales programs to enhance client engagement and retention.

4.Human Resources & Team Leadership: Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure compliance with regulatory and HR policies.

5.Clinical & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to SOPs, clinical standards, and regulations from relevant professional bodies. Coordinate emergency preparedness training and ensure patient safety.

6..Facilities, IT & Administration: Oversee facilities management, IT systems, vendors, and administrative processes to ensure smooth operations. Prepare reports, chair meetings, and maintain continuity plans.

7.Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Lead projects to implement new systems and processes, train staff on change initiatives, and identify areas for operational improvement using data-driven analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or postgraduate qualification highly desirable.
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in senior general management or operational leadership roles, preferably in 3.healthcare or service-oriented organizations.
  • Proven track record in driving business growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • High ethical standards, resilience, and solution-oriented mindset.
