Contract: 6-12 months (renewable, project-based)

Key Responsibilities

• Apply modem cultivation techniques for optimal growth and quality
• Oversee harvesting, treatment, and processing of bamboo
• Explore and implement innovative uses of bamboo (e.g., school furniture, construction, crafts)
• Work closely with local communities, artisans, and partners
• Train and supervise staff in bamboo cultivation and utilization
• Monitor market opportunities

Qualification & Competence

• Diploma/Degree or equivalent Education or experience in agriculture, forestry, or sustainable resource management
• Strong knowledge of bamboo cultivation and/or interest in innovative natural materials
• Business mindset with experience in value chain development
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Passion for sustainability and community development
• Strong skills in MS Word and Excel; AutoCAD knowledge advantageous.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Proven leadership in managing diverse teams.
• Adaptability to remote, resource-limited environments.
• High integrity, accountability, and resilience under pressure.
