We are currently seeking a highly organized and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our team in Accra. The ideal candidate will support procurement operations by ensuring timely sourcing, purchasing, and supply of materials and services required for the successful execution of company projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Source and procure quality goods, materials, and services in line with company requirements.
- Obtain quotations, evaluate supplier pricing, and negotiate favorable terms.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Monitor supplier performance regarding pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure all purchased materials meet company quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with project teams and departments to maintain adequate inventory and material availability.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and supplier documentation.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and approved procedures.
- Support cost-control initiatives by identifying cost-saving opportunities and efficient procurement practices.
- Conduct market research to identify reliable and competitive suppliers.
- Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates to management.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Logistics, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Procurement is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in procurement, preferably within construction or real estate development projects.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement procedures and supplier management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement systems.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
