Role Overview

Akka Kappa Ltd seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, project budgeting, and tendering processes. This role ensures financial efficiency, accurate reporting, and value management across construction projects, supporting both consultancy and contractor functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates for construction projects.

  • Conduct tendering processes, evaluate bids, and provide recommendations.

  • Monitor project costs, control budgets, and provide cost reports to management.

  • Administer contracts, including valuations, variations, and change orders.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure financial compliance and project efficiency.

  • Assist in project planning, procurement, and resource allocation.

  • Apply best practices in cost management, reporting, and value engineering.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Technology, Building Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in cost planning, BOQs, tendering, and construction cost control.

  • Practical understanding of contract administration, valuation, and variations.

  • Experience in consultancy or contractor environments is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team collaboration abilities.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and MS Office applications.
