Role Purpose

The Sales Engineer drives business growth by providing technical expertise and solutions to clients while promoting Process & Plant Automation Ltd.’s products and services. This role combines technical knowledge with sales acumen to identify opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities in line with company goals.

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations to clients.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and provide tailored automation solutions.

Technical Expertise and Support

  • Provide technical guidance and support to clients throughout the sales process.

  • Advise on product selection, system design, and application solutions.

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and project progress.

  • Track sales targets and provide regular reports to management.

  • Analyze market trends and provide recommendations to enhance business strategy.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in one of the following fields:

    • Electrical Engineering

    • Petroleum Engineering

    • Mechanical Engineering

    • Computer Engineering / Computer Science

    • Physics or Mathematics

Professional Experience

  • Proven experience in a technical sales or engineering role is an advantage.

  • Strong understanding of industrial automation, process engineering, or technical solutions.

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a client-focused environment.

  • Target-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
