Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic and target-driven Sales Lead – Retail & SME Insurance to spearhead customer acquisition, revenue growth, and market penetration within the retail and small-to-medium enterprise segments. The successful candidate will actively build strong client relationships, lead sales initiatives, and drive consistent performance across assigned territories.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve retail and SME insurance targets.

  • Identify, prospect, and convert new clients while maintaining a strong sales pipeline.

  • Promote and sell insurance products tailored to individual and SME client needs.

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure retention and repeat business.

  • Conduct client presentations, needs assessments, and product demonstrations.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

  • Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for management.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of HND in Business, Marketing, Insurance, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).

  • 2–4 years of proven experience in insurance sales, particularly within retail and SME segments.

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a high-performing team.
