Vecomity Ghana Limited is a diversified agricultural and industrial company headquartered in Tema, with operational activities in the Afram Plains of the Eastern Region. The company is actively involved in crop cultivation, including vegetables, rice, and plantain, as well as greenhouse construction and maintenance.
Vecomity also operates across complementary value chains such as aquaculture, poultry, wood processing, and ethanol production. The company supplies fresh, organic, and nutritious agricultural produce to the local market and exports to Europe, while also engaging in international trade of industrial materials. Vecomity participates regularly in agricultural, trade, and food exhibitions and is focused on sustainable production, value addition, and market expansion.
Job Summary
The Sales Manager will lead Vecomity Ghana Limited’s sales and business development function across its agricultural, industrial, and export operations. The role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding local and international markets, managing key client relationships, and leading a high-performing sales team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in strengthening Vecomity’s presence in both domestic and export markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies covering agricultural produce, greenhouse services, and industrial products.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed revenue and volume targets.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in local, regional, and export markets, including Europe.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, exporters, agribusiness partners, and institutional clients.
Manage key accounts and negotiate commercial terms, contracts, and long-term supply agreements.
Monitor market trends, pricing, customer demand, and competitor activity to inform sales planning.
Collaborate with production, operations, and logistics teams to align sales commitments with supply capacity.
Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.
Represent the company at trade fairs, agricultural exhibitions, and industry events.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and ethical sales practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Agribusiness, International Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales or business development, preferably within agribusiness, FMCG, exports, or industrial products.
- At least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in B2B sales, export markets, or supply chain-driven industries is a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of the Ghanaian market; exposure to international markets is an added benefit.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or sales reporting tools.
