Role Purpose

The Sales Manager leads and drives the company’s sales strategy to achieve revenue growth and market expansion. The role actively manages the sales team, strengthens customer relationships, and ensures consistent achievement of sales targets while aligning sales operations with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership and Strategy

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.

  • Lead, coach, and supervise the sales team to achieve individual and team performance targets.

  • Set sales goals, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions where necessary.

Business Development and Client Management

  • Identify new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships.

  • Negotiate contracts, close high-value deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Represent the company professionally in meetings, presentations, and business engagements.

Planning, Reporting, and Performance Management

  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management review.

  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.

  • Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities and pipeline management.

Collaboration and Brand Representation

  • Work closely with marketing and operations teams to align sales initiatives.

  • Promote the company’s brand values and maintain a strong market presence.

  • Uphold ethical standards, professionalism, and customer-focused service delivery.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.

Experience

  • 4–6 years of relevant sales experience, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Experience managing teams and driving performance in a competitive environment.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Results-oriented with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability.
