Role Overview

The Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of company premises, staff, customers, and assets. The role requires attentiveness, professionalism, and the ability to respond effectively to security concerns while upholding company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to company premises to ensure authorized entry only.

• Patrol assigned areas regularly to deter and detect security risks.

• Protect company property, vehicles, and assets from theft, damage, or unauthorized use.

• Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, or safety hazards promptly.

• Enforce security procedures and site rules professionally and respectfully.

• Respond to emergencies, alarms, and incidents in line with established protocols.

• Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports, and shift records.

• Provide courteous assistance and directions to staff, customers, and visitors.

• Collaborate with management and emergency services when required.

  Educational Qualifications & Experience

  • High school education or equivalent.

  • Previous experience in a security or guarding role will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

  Additional Requirements

  • Physically fit and able to stand or patrol for extended periods.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and vigilance.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
