Key Responsibilities

As a Security Officer at the International Community School, you will:

• Conduct both regular and random patrols across multiple premises to maintain a secure environment.
• Respond promptly to any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Investigate incidents as needed and implement control procedures effectively.
• Document nightly operations and compile comprehensive weekly reports.
• Ensure that all doors and access points are secured as required.
• Collaborate with staff and administration to implement and maintain effective security measures.
• Proactively safeguard the school’s future by maintaining a safe and secure environment for students and staff.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of SSSCE/WASSCE qualification.
• Proven experience in a security-related role, with hands-on knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
• Strong observational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including six days per week.
