Job Summary
PPAG is seeking a vigilant, responsible, and professional Security Officer to maintain safety and security at its Head Office in Accra. The successful candidate will actively monitor the premises, prevent unauthorized access, and ensure the safety of staff, clients, and organizational assets, while promoting a welcoming and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and security of staff, visitors, and organizational property.
Monitor entry and exit points, verifying identification and controlling access.
Conduct regular patrols of the facility to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies and report them to the Facility Head.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Enforce compliance with organizational security protocols and safety regulations.
Support a safe and welcoming environment for all staff and visitors.
Collaborate with management to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
Educational Requirements
SSCE/WASSCE certificate or Diploma in a relevant field.
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 2 years working experience in security or related roles.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong observational, vigilance, and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies.
Knowledge of standard security procedures and safety measures.
High integrity, reliability, and professionalism.
