Position Summary

The Security Officer / CCTV Operator plays a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of the school premises. The successful candidate will actively monitor surveillance systems, respond to incidents, and collaborate with internal teams and external law enforcement agencies to ensure a secure environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate CCTV systems to detect and prevent security breaches.
• Conduct regular patrols of the school campus to ensure safety and compliance with security procedures.
• Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Control access to the premises by verifying identification and managing entry/exit points.
• Liaise and coordinate efficiently with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Enforce school safety policies and procedures consistently.
• Provide support during events and outside normal working hours as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Security Officer.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience operating CCTV systems (practical competency will be tested).
• Proven ability to work effectively with local law enforcement representatives.
• Minimum of Senior High School (SHS) qualification or equivalent.
• Formal training or certification in security operations is required.
• Valid and clean driving license.
• Strong observational, communication, and incident-reporting skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

Working Conditions

• This is a full-time position.
• The role requires flexibility to work outside normal working hours, including weekends and night shifts.
• The successful candidate must be available for regular night shift duties.
