To support our seed processing operations, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Seed Processing Supervisor to join our team in Kusi, Kade.
Role Overview
The Seed Processing Supervisor oversees daily seed processing activities to ensure quality standards, efficiency, and compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate seed processing operations, including cleaning, grading, treatment, packaging, and storage.
Ensure processed seeds meet required quality, certification, and safety standards.
Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of processing activities.
Lead, train, and supervise processing staff to promote productivity, teamwork, and adherence to procedures.
Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards within the processing facility.
Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality control records.
Identify operational challenges and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
Coordinate equipment usage, basic maintenance, and reporting of faults.
Collaborate with management to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role, preferably within agricultural processing, seed production, or agro-industry operations.
Practical knowledge of agricultural processing operations and quality control principles.
